Shruti Haasan recently opened up about her breakup with longtime partner Santanu Hazarika, revealing that they were nearly on the verge of getting married.
Sharing her views on marriage, Shruti said, “While I wholeheartedly respect the values that marriage represents, I don’t believe a legal document is necessary to affirm them.”
She also spoke about motherhood, expressing a strong desire to become a parent someday. If she doesn’t get married, she said she would consider adoption.
“I do not want to raise a child as a single parent. I firmly believe that having two loving and committed parents is vital for a child’s upbringing and development. I may consider adopting children,” she added.
