Director Gunasekhar has tested negative in the latest COVID-19 tests. He has initially tested positive while shooting for his period drama “Shaakuntalam” featuring Samantha in the main role.
With the news that her director tested negative, Samantha heaves a sigh of relief.
She has been taking all safety measures at her home. She will now resume the shoot of “Shaakuntalam”.
The director recently filmed a sensuous song on Samantha.
Since the corona wave spread last year, Samantha has cut down her acting assignments.
She is currently acting in a Tamil-Telugu bilingual directed by Nayanthara’s boyfriend Vignesh Shivan besides “Shaakuntalam”.
