Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who was last seen in Citadel: Honey Bunny (2023), has made it clear that she’s no longer chasing the frenzy of back-to-back film releases.
Speaking at the All India Management Association’s 52nd National Management Convention in Delhi, the actress reflected on how her battle with myositis, an autoimmune condition, transformed her outlook on life and career.
“The previous version of me probably had five films releasing in a year. Today, I haven’t had a film release in two years, but I am the happiest I have ever been,” she said.
Samantha admitted that she once tied her self-worth to Friday box-office numbers, but now prioritises wellness and gratitude.
“Keeping a gratitude journal for one year changed my whole personality,” she revealed, adding that her podcast and new investments are geared toward promoting long-term health and well-being.
