Sai Pallavi: 'That Was A Fake Kiss With Camera Trick'

Sai Pallavi, the actress who is in news with her blockbuster film "Love Story" gave an exclusive interview to greatandhra to share her experiences of the film and also her acting profession on a whole. 

When asked about how she felt for Chiranjeevi's praising in the pre release event, she said, "Chiranjeevi has big heart to talk like that about me. I was overwhelmed and that was my emotional day. I am ready to dance with him for any film but he should tell me when that day comes true".

Answering about why she denied to act beside Chiranjeevi as his sister for the film Bhola Shankar, she shared- "I am afraid of remakes because I doubt if I can replicate the original artiste. If I fail to do, I question myself why I accepted it. So I don't want to get into that self question".

We assume that Sai Pallavi is the most acclaimed dancer in the past. But she revealed a fact that she never won any prize for any of her dance competition in her life.   

"I did not win in any dance competition for the last 20 years of my dance programs. I acted in dance shows but never won", she said.

Saying about her acting talent, she confessed- "If the character is good, the performance automatically comes, I feel".

Many of the audience got emotionally connected to the kissing scenes in the film "Love Story". But Sai Pallavi says that those kisses are fake. 

"I never act in kissing scenes. I am against  to that. Sekhar Kammula never troubles me for doing anything that I don't like. I did not kiss Naga Chaitanya in the scene. The cameraman managed the camera angle to fake it as a kiss", she said.

To the question related to her risky jumps in the song "Evo Evo Kalale, she shared with smiles- "Safety measures were taken. I didn't use any rope but the camera was kept down to show as if I jumped too high".

Sai Pallavi is known for her riskiest steps in her songs and when asked where she felt the hardship of doing the steps, she shared-   "The back bending step for the song "Evandoi Nani Garu" in MCA, some steps in "Evo evo kalale" in Love Story and the sharp steps in "Rowdy Baby" song are difficult to do. We shouldn't show the pain to audience. That's where we need to act."

She also affirmed - "I do in films as long as audience accept me. After that I go back to my medical profession. I love being a medical practitioner a lot as I studied it with passion".
