Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Mass Jathara was initially scheduled for release on May 9.
However, the release was postponed indefinitely, as the makers anticipated a clash with major films like Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara and Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
Surprisingly, neither of those big-budget films released this month, nor have their producers announced new dates.
Meanwhile, the production house has shifted its focus to promoting Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom, which is slated for release on July 4.
This has left Ravi Teja’s fans frustrated, as they are now demanding that the makers lock in a release date for Mass Jathara — preferably in June or July.
Ravi Teja is also under pressure to deliver a hit, following the failure of his last film Mr. Bachchan, which was a major flop.
Mass Jathara features him in a police officer role — a character type that has historically brought him success.
Fans are hopeful this film could mark a strong comeback.
