Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar, who died in October last year, had acted in a film named “James” and the first look was released on Wednesday.
The makers are planning to release it on March 17 on the occasion of Puneeth Rajkumar’s birth anniversary.
Meanwhile, the Kannda film distributors and exhibitors have decided not to screen any film in the third week of March as a tribute to Puneeth. Only Puneeth Rajkumar’s films will be screened for a week in all the theaters in the state.
So, Rajamouli and the makers of “RRR” should drop the idea of releasing the movie on March 18. The makers had recently announced two new release dates for the film. It will release either on March 18, 2022, or April 28, the makers stated.
But the Karnataka exhibitors would not screen “RRR” on March 18th as only Puneeth’s movies would be allowed for a week. So, the best option for Rajamouli’s movie is April 28th.
Starring NTR and Ram Charan, “RRR” has been facing release issues due to COVID-19.
