Rashmika Mandanna has been hogging the limelight in Bollywood lately. After the success of “Pushpa” in North India, Bollywood filmmakers ran after her for new projects. She signed three Bollywood films within no time.
Her first Hindi film finally hit the theaters. “Goodbye” is her maiden film which was released in the theaters this Friday. On the first day, the response was poor.
Although the film received fairly decent reviews, the audiences didn’t show interest. On the first day, the film collected mere Rs 1 Crore nett. The growth is not visible on the second day either.
In other words, Rashmika’s presence and stardom had not helped the film at all. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan as her father. But the makers promoted the film as Rashmika’s.
She has another Bollywood film, Mission Majnu, due for release shortly. But she got a poor start.
