Rajinikanth's Hyderabad Shoot Stirs Controversy

Rajinikanth's Hyderabad Shoot Stirs Controversy

Superstar Rajinikanth is quietly shooting for his Tamil-Telugu bilingual “Annaatthe” in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

There have been reports that the team has sought special permission from Hyderabad police to shoot some night sequences as the government imposed a night curfew in the state.

It is not clear whether the police have given permission to Rajinikanth’s movie but it has stirred controversy in Tamilnadu.

Despite the surge in cases of COVID-19 in Hyderabad, why is that Rajinikanth shooting? The Tamil political parties are demanding to know.

The actor earlier said that he had dropped his political plans due to his health condition.

He also quickly wrapped the Hyderabad shoot schedule last year due to some crew members testing positive for COVID-19.

But this time, Rajinikanth is continuing the shoot while all other biggies had stopped the shootings.
