The much-awaited ‘Pushpa’ will be releasing next week. After much deliberation, director Sukumar has cleared the final cut.
The movie is going to be nearly three hours long. The final runtime of the movie is 2 hours 56 minutes, just four minutes short of three hours.
Sukumar felt that stories that have a huge span should not be trimmed.
Films like “Arjun Reddy”, “Baahubali”, and “Rangasthalam” became huge hits despite their lengthy runtime. Since the story of “Pushpa” is densely populated with strong characters, audiences will not get bored.
Remember, this is just the first part of the story. A lot of it is left to be told in the second part as well.
Allu Arjun wanted a slick version, but finally, director Sukumar went along with his vision.
Starring Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, a smuggler turned don, the movie has a solid soundtrack, arresting performances, and lavish making.
Mounted on a large scale, the film has been creating hype around it.
