Ram Charan and NTR are the actors who have been seen together ever since the announcement of RRR.
There was a huge buzz on this and the Gemini channel wanted to cash in on this with the Evaru Meelo Koteeswarudu show hosted by NTR.
But much to the shock, the response was not as expected for the curtain raiser episode with Ram Charan.
Whatever be the response garnered is only because of the Jathi Ratnalu film that was telecasted just before this show.
The audience who watched the film continued to the Evaru Meelo Koteeswarudu and contributed for the 11.4 TVR for this curtain raiser episode.
It was actually expected to cross 15 TVR irrespective of the Jathi Ratnalu effect.
Miserably for the other episodes being hosted by NTR the ratings are like this:
24/8 - 5.4 TVR ( Ram charan part 2), 25/8 - 5.2 TVR, 26/8 - 6.2 TVR
So, the true craze of Ram Charan- NTR combination without 'Jathi Ratnalu" element was seen on 24/8 with a meagre 5.4 TRP.
These ratings are released by BARC - AP/TS - Urban15+.
Well, Jathi Ratnalu premiere on 22/8 brought 10.2 TVR.
For normal days between Monday and Friday in entertainment channels, the 8:30 slot is expected to get 10 TVR but Evaru Meelo Koteeswarudu is getting just 5+ TVR.
This is an indication that the buzz for both RRR and Evaru Meelo Koteeswarudu is diluted in a big way. As the film RRR continues to get delayed there are tensions that it may become stale.
