Peddi Steps Aside, Ustaad Bhagat Singh Takes Over

The summer release calendar is seeing a major reshuffle. It has now been confirmed that Ram Charan’s Peddi has been completely postponed.

With crucial sequences yet to be shot, songs still pending, and extensive post-production work remaining, the film will not make it to either March or April as originally planned.

Peddi was slated for a grand release on March 27 as Ram Charan’s birthday special.

However, with the delay, the coveted March 26 release slot has opened up—and it is now being locked by Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh.

The film is set to hit theatres worldwide a week after the release of the Hindi biggie Dhurandhar 2.

While there were initial concerns about losing opening momentum due to the Ranveer Singh-starrer, the makers have decided to stick with the March-end date.

The key reason: Ustaad Bhagat Singh is primarily targeting the Telugu states and the North American market, with minimal focus on North India, ensuring negligible competition.

Meanwhile, the team is gearing up to intensify promotions, with more songs expected to be unveiled in the coming days.
