The upcoming Ravi Teja starrer Bhartha Mahasayulu Wignyapthi has caught attention not just for its star cast and festive release slot but also for its unusual title spelling.
Traditionally, the Telugu word “Vignyapthi” begins with “V” and it’s rare to see it spelled with a “W.” However, insiders reveal that this tweak is an intentional creative decision by the makers.
According to reports, the team wanted the film’s abbreviation to read as BMW, a combination instantly familiar due to the globally popular automobile brand.
They believed BMW would be a catchier, more memorable short form compared to the conventional BMV, helping the movie stand out in promotional material and audience recall.
This clever branding strategy is said to be one of the reasons behind finalizing the unique spelling.
Directed by Kishore Tirumala and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner, the film stars Ravi Teja, Ashika Ranganath, Dimple Hayathi, and others.
Bhartha Mahasayulu Wignyapthi is slated for a grand release during Sankranthi 2026, promising an entertaining festival outing.
