He was under severe criticism for his tweet against the proposal of Kurnool as the judicial capital city of Andhra Pradesh.
In his tweet, he raised a question - how would a guy from Srikakulam travel such a length to Kurnool on a simple court’s work. This didn’t go well with Rayalaseema people on social media.
Twitterati dug out a video of Pawan Kalyan’s Feb 2019’s speech he made in Kurnool. Back then he mentioned that in his heart Kurnool would remain as the capital city of Andhra Pradesh.
But as soon as AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made a proposal of three capital cities for the state and declared Kurnool as judicial capital, Pawan Kalyan changed his tune.
The netizens had slammed him and started trending against him.
A group of Rayalaseema people on social media had called on boycotting Pawan Kalyan’s comeback movie in the ceded region.
Pawan Kalyan is planning to make a comeback with the remake of ‘Pink’ next year. If he continues the same stand, his film will definitely see problems during the release of the movie. His career will be affected.

Realizing that his comments have backfired, Pawan Kalyan has now decided to wait further making comments until the government-appointed committee puts in its final report.
