Opinion: Nagarjuna Speaks Sense On AP Ticket Prices

The quandary on the film ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh has been going on for quite some time.

Suddenly, with the advent of Ram Gopal Varma a couple of days ago, the issue became more rampant and almost every TV channel has given enough space to the director to vent out his questions.

After the counters and encounters between RGV and the concerned AP Minister, finally today, Ram Gopal Varma posted on twitter- "To all concerned , since there is a favorable response from the honorable cinematography minister @perni_nani..I wish to put this needless controversy to an end".

So, RGV, in a way, agreed to the concerns and logic explained by the government of AP.

Freshly Nagarjuna also spoke sense from the dais of Bangarraju pre release event.

When asked about the ticket prices in AP, he first said that he is not willing to comment on politics on that occasion.

But when asked if the present ticket prices in AP creates no problem for him, he firmly replied, "Not at all. Of course, we get more money with better ticket prices, but no problem at all for my film with the present ticket prices".

The bottom line is that the issue is in the court of law and none can do anything at present. The High Court ordered the government to submit a report before Feb 10 through a special committee dedicated to this job.

The government has done its job and the committee has to study and give the report. The court will give a verdict after going through the report submitted by the committee. Until then nothing can happen.

Besides, there are no big film releases until the next two months. So, this is the time for silence rather than the twitter wars and TV nuisance.
