Will Balakrishna and Pawan Kalyan really clash at the box office?
Both belong to the same political alliance: Balakrishna is a Telugu Desam Party MLA from Hindupuram in Andhra Pradesh, while Pawan Kalyan, the Jana Sena MLA from Pithapuram, also serves as the state’s Deputy Chief Minister.
Since Jana Sena and TDP are partners in the NDA, a direct box office battle between them seems unlikely.
Yet, the makers of OG (starring Pawan Kalyan) and Akhanda 2 (starring Nandamuri Balakrishna) are both sticking to the same release date: September 25.
With only 40 days left, if there’s truly no intention to compete, the confusion should be cleared up now. However, just recently, the Akhanda 2 team once again reaffirmed that date.
Meanwhile, the OG camp is already releasing songs and rolling out an extensive promotional plan.
So, why keep everyone guessing?
