Actress Meera Chopra is more known to Telugu audiences for her pairing up with Pawan Kalyan in the film "Bangaram".
Later she appeared in "Vaana" and eventually her career on Telugu screen was not much happening though made some attempts. The films didn't score well at the box office.
She is the cousin to the world famous Indian actress Priyanka Chopra.
In an interview she confessed about the privileges she got being her cousin, and also exposed how it didn't help her much for her career.
She said, "I never got any opportunity because I was Priyanka's cousin. No producer took me into their films based on that relation. The only privilege I got is that the producers know that I come from a family which knows about cinema".
In fact she implied that none dared to exploit her due to her exposure to the field of cinema.
Meera was also happy to share that she was never compared to her cousin in any way by the media.
