Recent reports suggested a surprise addition to the cast of Prabhas’s upcoming film “Spirit,” sparking widespread speculation among fans.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film’s shoot is currently progressing at a brisk pace, with key sequences being filmed in and around Hyderabad.
Apart from Prabhas, “Spirit” features Tripti Dimri, Prakash Raj, and Vivek Oberoi in prominent roles. There have also been strong rumors about Korean superstar Don Lee playing the main antagonist, though the makers are yet to officially confirm his involvement.
Amid these developments, fans began speculating about Megastar Chiranjeevi’s possible presence in the film.
Reports claimed that Chiranjeevi would be seen as Prabhas’s father in an important flashback episode.
However, the film’s team has firmly denied these rumors, clarifying that there is no cameo or special appearance by Chiranjeevi in “Spirit.”
Despite Sandeep Reddy Vanga being a known admirer of the Megastar, the director has chosen not to include any cameo in the film.
“Spirit” is scheduled for a grand theatrical release in March 2027.
