Reports claim that she is planning to add a new surname in the credits of her upcoming projects.
Samantha recently tied the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru.
She parted ways with actor Naga Chaitanya four years ago and had used the name Samantha Akkineni during her first marriage.
Following her marriage to Raj Nidimoru, speculation is rife that Samantha may adopt the surname Nidimoru, starting with her current film Maa Inti Bangaram, directed by Nandini Reddy.
However, sources close to the actress clarify that there has been no official communication or confirmation from Samantha regarding any name change.
At present, Samantha continues to use the same name on her social media platforms.
