Negative Propaganda On GodFather Worried Me: Chiru

The success celebrations of megastar Chiranjeevi’s GodFather happened today in presence of the film’s unit and few guests.

Chiranjeevi expressed his unhappiness over negative propaganda over the movie, before its release. He also revealed how the team worked restlessly to give a better outcome.

“In recent times, audiences are watching movies with strong content. The original Lucifer didn’t have elements for ladies. We changed it completely. I’m happy that, ladies are coming to watch GodFather.

There is ambiguity in the original. We wanted to make GodFather interestingly and engagingly. I also didn’t like the conclusion given for Satya Dev’s character. I asked Mohan Raja to come up with another version. I liked the changes he made for the climax and we re-shot the sequence just 15 days ago.”

Chiranjeevi made some serious allegations against one section of the media that spread negativity about the movie before its release.

“Don’t we know when to promote a movie? Don’t we know how to bring buzz to a movie? I spoke at the pre-release event, despite drenching in rain, as not to give the media to talk damagingly about the event and the movie.”

Chiranjeevi also thanked the media for helping in promoting the movie. “There are 10 to 15 movies, I feel great about and GodFather will be there is the list.”

Chiranjeevi also divulged about Bobby and Meher Ramesh’s movies.

“While I played a settled character in GodFather, my character in Bobby’s movie will be massy and entertaining like my vintage movies. Meher Ramesh’s movie will be an action entertainer with sentiment and drama.”
