Director Anil Ravipudi is known for wrapping up his films quickly, regardless of the star power involved.
He is currently working on a full-fledged entertainer featuring Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role. The film #Mega157 also stars Nayanthara as the female lead.
The team has already completed its first shooting schedule in Hyderabad, with Chiranjeevi participating actively. Reports suggest that the makers are quite satisfied with the rushes from this schedule.
The next phase of shooting begins today in Mussoorie, where Nayanthara joins the production in this schedule in a couple of days. VTV Ganesh and few others also take part in the schedule continue for 10 days.
While she previously shot for the film’s promotional material, this will mark her first schedule for the main shoot.
The film promises to showcase Chiranjeevi in a high-energy, comedic role, capitalizing on Anil Ravipudi’s trademark humour, which is expected to be one of its highlights.

#Mega157 is being jointly produced by Sahu Garapati of Shine Screens and Sushmita Konidela of Gold Box Entertainments, and is presented by Smt. Archana.
The cinematography is handled by Sameer Reddy, while Bheems Ceciroleo is composing the music.
The film is slated for a Sankranthi 2026 release.
