Lucifer Remake To Get Delayed Further

The Telugu script for “Lucifer” remake was first drafted by Sujeeth of ‘Saaho’ fame but the changes that he made didn’t impress Megastar Chiranjeevi.

The movie then was handed over to VV Vinayak, who successfully remade Tamil movies into Telugu as “Tagore” and “Khaidi No 150” with the megastar.

But sources inform GreatAndhra that the senior director, who is struggling with lack of form lately, has not locked the final draft yet.

Vinayak has decided to remake it faithfully without much changes to the original Malayalam script but he has not cracked the idea of incorporating songs and a female pair for the Chiranjeevi.

In the Malayalam version, Mohanlal didn’t have a female pair or songs.

As this is getting delayed, Megastar Chiranjeevi will go with the ‘Vedhalam’ remake in the direction of Meher Ramesh.

The remake of “Lucifer” will only be launched in the second half of 2021.
