Excited by the announcement of Prabhas playing the role of Lord Ram in “Aadipurush”, Krishnam Raju said the film will become a popular sentiment as Ayodhya has been with the Indians.
“The Bhumi pooja for Ayodhya temple by Prime Minister Modi got connected to millions of people. It was such an emotional moment. Likewise, when Aadipurush gets released, people will connect with it. The film will become a milestone in Indian cinema’s history,” visibly elated Krishnam Raj said.
He also opined that Prabhas is the ideal choice for this mammoth project.
Krishnam Raju is former BJP MP and Union Minister. There have been rumors that the film was announced in the backdrop of Ayodha temple construction mood. Krishnam Raju’s statements lend credence to this theory.
