Many may not immediately recognize the name Mukul Dev, but mention the villain from Ravi Teja’s superhit film Krishna, and fans will quickly recall his face.
After being away from the silver screen for some time, actor Mukul Dev has sadly passed away at the age of 54.
Mukul Dev, the younger brother of well-known Tollywood and Bollywood villain Rahul Dev, made his acting debut in a Hindi film and went on to leave a mark in Telugu cinema.
Known for his stylish appearance and impactful villainous roles, he impressed audiences in several films including Ek Niranjan, Adhurs, Nippu, and Bhai.
In addition to Telugu films, Mukul Dev also acted in Hindi, Punjabi, and Kannada movies. However, he had distanced himself from films in recent years.
Following the death of his parents, Mukul reportedly slipped into depression and began living in isolation. This took a toll on his health.
As his condition worsened, he was admitted to a private hospital in Mumbai, where he passed away last night. Mukul Dev had not appeared in any films since the COVID-19 pandemic.
