Keerthy's Wrong Step With Uppu Kappurambu

Keerthy's Wrong Step With Uppu Kappurambu

Keerthy Suresh, known for her brilliant role in Mahanati, has built a strong brand in recent years. She's worked with top stars, maintained her image, and shown dedication to her craft.

However, her decision to act in Uppu Kappurambu has raised eyebrows, as it feels like a mismatch for her level of talent.

The film itself is hard to sit through. Within minutes, it tests the viewer’s patience with its weak humor and dull storytelling.

Keerthy attempts comedy through exaggerated expressions and body language, but it ends up making the experience uncomfortable.

One wonders whether she misunderstood the role or, fully understood it and still chose to go ahead.

The story had potential with its unique plot like limited burial space, a lottery system, and a family legacy; but poor execution ruined it.

The director’s attempt to use comedy instead of emotion backfired, and the narrative lacked depth and engagement. Even a decent performance from Suhas couldn’t save the film.

If Keerthy keeps accepting such poorly thought-out projects without analyzing the script, emotional value, or the filmmaker’s vision, it could hurt her career. Hopefully, this film serves as a wake-up call for better choices going forward.

Despite getting a great opportunity to work with Keerthy Suresh, Suhas, and under the Amazon banner, the director missed the chance to deliver.

Even Amazon should understand that simply bringing stars on board isn't enough; it raises expectations on the product, which demands thorough feedback on the script and the director's capabilities.
