Hero Karthi who had two consecutive hits came up with a unique dark comedy thriller Japan which was released yesterday to mixed response.
However, the movie was off to a good start in Telugu states. Some areas witnessed fulls, because this was the only noted movie released this week.
Moreover, the promotional material promised Japan is not a regular movie and it will have adequate entertainment.
The movie directed by Raju Murugan is expected to mint good money, at least till the Diwali holidays are over.
Produced grandly by Dream Warrior Pictures, Japan starred Anu Emmanuel playing the female lead opposite Karthi.
