Hero Karthi’s latest flick Japan directed by Raju Murugan under Dream Warrior Pictures will be hitting the big screens tomorrow.
After making a National-award winning film Joker, the director is coming up with a commercial entertainer that will also have a good message.
“Karthi is a good friend of mine. He’s a socially responsible person. When I met him, he promised to do a film, if I wrote a good story with humor. Karthi motivated me to do this story. When a film is made with big heroes like Karthi, the message reaches the audience on a massive scale. It was a wonderful experience to work with Karthi.”
The director thanks his producers for all the freedom they gave in making the movie. “I did the movie Joker with producers Prabhu and Prakash. Besides allocating a high budget, they have supported me completely.”
The movie has an ensemble cast, including Anu Emmanuel, Sunil, Ravikumar, etc. “The actors are to be selected as per the demand of the script. Japan has a good cast. Sunil sir's role is very important. He played the character brilliantly. Anu Emmanuel, Ravikumar sir, and others have given good performances.”
Raju Murugan believes that Japan will take him to the next level as a director.
