The teaser of Drishyam 3 is finally out, teasing a darker and more intense phase in the life of Georgekutty, played by Mohanlal.
Built around fear and consequences, the 1-minute-50-second glimpse makes it clear—the past is far from over.
The teaser opens with Georgekutty’s voiceover, reflecting on his once simple life with his family. He recalls how everything changed when an “unwanted guest” entered their lives, bringing with it the power to destroy everything he holds dear.
As the visuals unfold, Georgekutty appears more vulnerable than ever. While he stands by the tough choices he made to protect his family, there’s an unmistakable sense that those decisions are now catching up with him.
A constant feeling of being watched runs through the teaser, adding a layer of tension and hinting that someone may be getting closer to the truth.
We get fleeting glimpses of his wife and daughters, reminding us of what’s at stake. At the same time, the teaser suggests a larger game unfolding in the background, raising questions about who is observing Georgekutty—and what they already know.
Earlier, Mohanlal had unveiled the teaser date along with a new poster showing Georgekutty holding farming tools—symbolising his grounded life while subtly hinting at deeper secrets.
Directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced by Antony Perumbavoor, the film went on floors in September 2025 with a traditional pooja ceremony.
The original Drishyam released in 2013, followed by a successful sequel in 2021.
Drishyam 3 is now set for a worldwide theatrical release on May 21.
