Actor Karthi teamed up with director Tamizh, known for the critically acclaimed Taanakkaran, for his 29th film.
The team launched the film today with a traditional pooja ceremony, officially beginning principal photography.
They announced the film’s title as Marshal, and the title poster shows Karthi with folded hands against a stormy sea backdrop. Interestingly, the poster keeps his face hidden.
Marshal is being bankrolled by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu under the Dream Warrior Pictures banner, with Ishan Saksena as co-producer.
Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the female lead in the film touted to be a high-budget spectacle with Sathyan Sooryan serving as the cinematographer and Sai Abhyankar scoring the music.
Karthi who played wide variety roles earlier seems to be playing another interesting role in the new movie Marshal.
