In Mangalagiri, where Nara Lokesh is contesting, the YSRCP has fielded Murugudu Lavanya, a candidate from the weavers' community, representing the BC category.
Moving to the Hindupur Assembly constituency, where Balakrishna is contesting for the TDP, the YSRCP candidate this time is Deepika, hailing from the Kuruba caste, also belonging to the BC community.
Similarly, in Kuppam, where Chandrababu Naidu is contesting for the TDP, the YSRCP candidate is Bharat, representing the Vannekapu Kshatriya caste, another BC community.
