'Kalyanam Kamaneeyam': Wedding Anthem

Through its teaser and three songs ('Oh Manasa', 'Ho Egire' and 'Ayyo Ento'), 'Kalyanam Kamaneeyam' has already made its presence felt. This Sankranthi release is a pakka content-oriented family entertainer, the makers have said.

Latest, UV Concepts has brought out a promotional song that begins with a brief episode involving actor Sharwanand and the film's hero, Santosh Shoban.

The 'Shatamanam Bhavati' actor cautions the 'Ek Mini Katha' actor against marriage, as it would apparently mean the end of freedom.

The curious point is that Sharwa himself is going to get married in real life soon. The song was released by pan-India superstar Prabhas via his social media handles.

The song brings out the need for companionship in life in a playful manner. The song doubles up as a wedding anthem, complete with men and women clad in ethnic wear.

Time-tested wedding rituals, the boisterous dance-and-song gala, and the vibes of the song are directed toward serving the central theme of the film.

Written by Krishna Kanth and sung by Sri Charan Pakala, the song has additional vocals written by Yamini Ghantasala and Ravi Prakash. Yash is its choreographer. It has been shot for promotions by Suresh Sarangam.

The film stars debutante Priya Bhavani Shankar as the male lead's wife. Directed by debutant Anil Kumar Aalla, the film is going to hit the screens on January 14.
