iSmart Shankar Finally Sees a Drop in Collections

After holding the collections pretty well for the first five days, the blockbuster “iSmart Shankar” has finally witnessed a drop.

On Wednesday, it had seen 50% drop in collections but this is quite a common trend for a movie to see such drop during weekdays.

Since the Ram starrer is still seeing 50% occupancy in single screens, it has all chances to see a good jump during the second weekend.

All in all, “iSmart Shankar” may join Rs 40 Cr club if it maintains the same momentum. After a long time, single screens had witnessed such high occupancy.

On the other hand, this weekend Vijay Deverakonda’s “Dear Comrade” is hitting the screens but both the films have different target of audiences. So, it may not affect “iSmart Shankar” though its collections will see a dent in urban areas.

As the film became a huge hit, Ram has announced that he would reconsider all the movies he was earlier discussing with various directors.

His next target is to deliver another mass entertainer. He will not be doing class movies for a while. Ram wants to sustain the mood and increase his market.
