One such project is Yellamma, backed by Dil Raju and set to be directed by Balagam fame Venu Yeldandi.
Following the massive success of Balagam, Dil Raju has high expectations from Venu and his brand of rural, rooted storytelling.
Interestingly, the script for Yellamma was initially offered to Nani, who ultimately turned it down. The project then fell into Nithiin’s hands.
However, industry sources suggest that both Nithiin and Dil Raju are now reconsidering whether the film aligns with the actor’s current image and career path.
For now, there has been no official confirmation, and the fate of Yellamma remains uncertain.
