The journey of Hari Hara Veera Mallu was long and arduous, taking over five years to complete.
Initially directed by Krish and later finished by Jyothi Krishna, the film finally saw the light of day, though its making was marred by delays and multiple changes.
Given Pawan Kalyan’s current role as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, many assumed that the second part of the film would be shelved.
However, during post-release promotions, the actor-politician confirmed that Hari Hara Veera Mallu – Part 2 is very much on the cards.
“We have already completed 30 percent of the second part. The remaining portion will be wrapped up as soon as possible,” he stated.
Pawan Kalyan is currently working on Ustaad Bhagat Singh, directed by Harish Shankar, and aims to complete it within the next two months. After that, he reportedly has no new film commitments lined up.
If he genuinely wants Hari Hara Veera Mallu – Part 2 to succeed, it would be crucial for him to prioritize the project later this year, giving the production and VFX teams ample time to deliver a visually superior experience.
Only then can he hope to surpass the response to the first part and achieve better results at the box office.
The real question is: Can he manage this while juggling his intense political schedule?
