At the Indian box office, most recent releases are witnessing a rapid drop in collections - except for one clear winner, Mahavatar Narsimha.
The mythological drama continues to dominate, collecting an estimated Rs 8 crore net on its eleventh day across all languages.
Its total domestic net collection now stands at approximately Rs 91.25 crore, making it the only film currently holding strong.
In contrast, other major releases are struggling.
Son of Sardaar 2 earned just around Rs 2.50 crore net on its fourth day. The film reported a low occupancy rate of 10.20 percent in Hindi belts on Monday, August 04.
Similarly, Dhadak 2 is also underperforming. It collected approximately Rs 1.40 crore net on its fourth day, with an overall occupancy of 12.75 percent in the Hindi market on the same day.
Kingdom, which had a promising start with Rs 40.90 crore net in its first four days, has also slowed down. On its fifth day, it managed to collect only about Rs 2.25 crore net.
With audiences showing limited interest in most new titles, Mahavatar Narsimha has clearly emerged as the lone box office success in an otherwise dull phase for Indian cinema.
