This memorial release was celebrated through a heartfelt tribute by Union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya M Scindia, expressing gratitude for the enduring spirit of arts and folklore that inspired the movie.

Bootha Kola, celebrated uniquely in coastal Karnataka, conveys themes of justice and guardianship and forms the spine of the Kantara cinematic universe.
Directed by Rishab Shetty himself on Hombale Films, the film is set for a massive release on October 2nd.
