'I Uttered Dialogues For ET In A Different Slang'

Tamil star Suriya who appeared in award winning movies Aakasam Nee Haddhu Raa and Jai Bhim is back with a pucca commercial entertainer ET which will be gracing the theatres on 10th of this month.

Suriya says the covid pandemic has changed the mindset of people. “Unlike earlier, we are spending time with families.”

The actor informs he got calls from different places of the countries, including Kolkata, after the release of Aakasam and Jai Bhim.

“Digital business is a big boon for the producers. It has also helped Tamil stars to venture into Telugu and people across the country are enjoying content-based movies in Malayalam.

Films like Pushpa and Bheemla Nayak which were released after the pandemic have done well at the box office. I hope, ET will also make strong business.”

Director Pandiraj previously made a film under Suriya’s 2D Entertainment which was released in Telugu as Chinababu. Vice President Venkaiah Naidu too watched and appreciated the movie.

Suriya shares the film’s core point is very relatable and it will connect to everyone in the country.

“It is based on the incidents happen in every village and Pandiraj has dealt the subject efficiently.”

The star informs the film won’t have any unnecessary scenes and it will appeal to young generation as well.

Suriya has dubbed for his character in the movie.

“I have lent voice for Telugu version as well with a different slang. Director liked it and he felt it would be good if I utter the dialogues in similar slang for Tamil.”
