Icon Star Allu Arjun is the chief guest for pre-release event of Sree Vishnu’s next release Alluri and the event was also graced by few other guests.
Sree Vishnu thanked his director Pradeep Varma for waiting five years for him.
“Alluri shows 20 years life of a cop. It’s a fictional character, but the incidents are real. It’s a must watch film for everyone. Police department has done a lot for us. I wanted to do something for them and did this movie.
I came to industry with empty hands to become an actor. Bekkem gave me first opportunity with Prema Ishq Kaadhal. Bunny called me when he was shooting for Race Gurram and gave valuable advice. He cautioned me not to pick all the stories come my way. He suggested to attempt different stories. I strictly followed his advice.
He also promised me to produce a movie, that if I don’t get any producer. He kept his promise and gave a role in S/O Satyamurthy. I was recognized in different places because of that movie.
I made sure my characters in my movies have AA letters, that’s the respect I’ve on him. However, it didn’t happen for Alluri. That’s why we invited him for the event.
First of single screens Thaggede Le, second half multiplexes Thaggede Le and last half an hour everybody will come out with heavy heart. The impact will be there for 2-3 days. You’ll raise hand and salute, whenever you see the police.”
Allu Arjun said that he has been following all the movies of Bekkem Venugopal since Prema Ishq Kaadhal.
“I like Sree Vishnu and his movies. Prema Ishq Kaadhal had 3 heroes. But I felt that Sree Vishnu did his character differently. I’ve been following all his movies. He has done some good movies. Few may turn out to be hits and some may flop, but there is novelty in all his movies.
He works dedicatedly for his movies. The respect will be there for him, irrespective of the result of his movies. I hope to see him reach next level.
I have soft corner for Sree Vishnu. I’m actually busy with Pushpa 2 works. I’ve been attending promotional events of other movies. But as to focus on Pushpa 2, I didn’t want to come out. But Sree Vishnu came to the office and requested me to come for the event. I couldn’t say no.
I would have come, even though I was in the mid of the shoot. It’s a good trend that, films with good content are doing well. I thank audience for the support for movies with good content.”
