The producers of "Guntur Kaaram" are determined to capitalize on the first day of its release at any cost.
They are employing every trick in the book to secure a substantial opening on the first day, including raising ticket prices and securing all available screens in the two Telugu states.
Despite the simultaneous release of "Hanu Man" on the same day (Jan 12), exhibitors are feeling the pressure to allocate as many screens as possible to "Guntur Kaaram."
The makers of Mahesh Babu's film are concerned because, from January 13 onwards, their film will have to share screens with other releases.
Simultaneously, the producers are set to meet with the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to discuss ticket rates.
Reportedly, the producers are anticipating rates similar to those of "Salaar" for their film in Nizam on the first day.
