Actor Dulquer Salmaan, son of Mammootty, revealed that he received his first paycheck of Rs 2000 for a TVC at the age of 10.
He clarified that Mammootty had not helped him in getting the TVC.
"This isn't some nepotism advantage...I was randomly picked...They came to my school to pick kids...and I was one of those who got picked," said Dulquer.
Dulquer's latest release was Chup: Revenge Of An Artist, in which he starred alongside Sunny Deol, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Pooja Bhatt. Director R Balki described the action-thriller as an ode to Guru Dutt.
The film, which released in theatres on September 23, follows a serial killer who goes around exclusively murdering film critics.
