God of War: Trivikram To Go in Atlee's Way

Despite juggling his shoot for Prashanth Neel’s Dragon and promotional commitments for his Bollywood debut War 2, NTR has already begun preparations for another major project.

He will work on his much-anticipated mythological drama with director Trivikram Srinivas.

Although the makers haven’t officially announced the title, fans have already dubbed the film “God of War,” as it is based on Lord Kartikeya, who is revered in Indian mythology as the God of War.

The film is expected to be mounted on a grand scale, marking Trivikram’s first full-fledged mythological venture.

Producer Naga Vamsi recently revealed that the team initially planned to unveil the project with a video glimpse.

However, after witnessing the high-end visual effects in the teaser of Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana, they decided to hold back and revise their approach.

Determined to match the visual standards of upcoming pan-Indian spectacles, Trivikram is reportedly investing significant time and budget into VFX.

He is also exploring a potential collaboration with a Hollywood studio — similar to what director Atlee is doing for his big-budget film with Allu Arjun — to bring an international scale to the project.
