The family of Icon Star Allu Arjun has landed in a legal dispute after the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) issued a demolition notice against their property in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
The notice concerns an allegedly unauthorized penthouse constructed atop the Allu Business Park. As of Tuesday afternoon, the family had not responded.
According to GHMC officials, permission had been granted for a four-storey building. However, an additional fifth-floor penthouse was built without approval.
The civic body has asked the owners to explain why the illegal structure should not be demolished.
The development comes at a sensitive time for the Allu family, which is currently in mourning.
On Monday, producer Allu Aravind held a prayer meeting to honor his late mother, Allu Kanakaratnamma, wife of legendary actor Allu Ramalingaiah.
Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, Megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and several other family members and industry figures attended the ceremony, where Allu Aravind paid heartfelt tributes to his mother.
