After receiving severe criticism for their selfish nature, Telugu actresses have started loosening the purse strings. Some of the Tollywood heroines announced donations to daily wage workers.
It was ‘Bapu Bomma’ Pranitha Subash who first responded to help the cine workers among the heroines. She contributed Rs 1 lakh. Lavanya Tripathi did the same.
Tamil actress Aishwarya Rajesh (of ‘World Famous Lover’) donated money to the Tamilnadu CM relief fund. Nayantara gave whopping Rs 20 lakhs to South Indian cine workers.
Now, Kajal Aggarwal and Tamannah have contributed Rs 2 lakh and Rs 3 lakh each respectively. So, actresses are finally responding.
But other leading heroines like Rashmika Mandanna, Pooja Hegde, and Raashi Khanna are still maintaining silence.
