Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s much-awaited an India action extravaganza Thug Life is u for release in nearly 10 days on June 5th.
The film’s audio launch event was celebrated grandly in Chennai, with all the lead actors and core technical team in the presence.
While speaking at the event, Kamal Haasan called himself as a huge fan of cinema. “When I talk about Thug Life, I must first talk about AR Rahman. After Ilayaraaja, it was Rahman who immersed me in music once again. Both of them are great artists who make South India proud.
Cinema is what brought me and Mani Ratnam together. As for the actors, every one of them has the potential to reach great heights. Simbu will rise as a leader who guides others. Trisha is not just beautiful on the outside. She is deeply beautiful as a person as well. Abhirami delivered a powerful performance. When I see Ashok Selvan act, I’m reminded of Nassar.
I didn’t know much about Joju George earlier, but I saw his film Iratta, where his acting was remarkable. He is one of those actors who make me feel jealous of their talent.
After Chandrahassan, Mahendran has been a great support to me. I’m confident the movie will impress everyone.”
