After the superb success of Ismart Shankar, Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh are coming back together for Double Ismart.
But Double Ismart is taking longer than expected to see daylight and this is leading to several unverified rumours.
There’s one rumor in circulation that Double Ismart has been halted from Ram’s side. The narrative is that Ram stopped the film due to remuneration issues.
But the inside hearsay that we came across is that Ram has only taken a token advance in the beginning and almost completed the film now. But things halted due to the current market downturn faced by most films these days.
It is heard that Ram has also come forward to work on a profit sharing basis to reduce the burden on the makers when he came to know about the temporary market downturn.
The makers are trying to source outside financers for the film since a while to begin the final schedule as the majority of the shoot has been wrapped up barring a few songs. Ram will readily join the shoot once the makers sort out the finances.
The team is confident that these are only temporary hurdles and the success of this most awaited blockbuster movie sequel will be making noise across the country once they’re ready.
