A fake rumor involving Pooja Hegde recently triggered massive fan clashes on X (formerly Twitter).
A post shared by a Tamil media handle falsely claimed that the actress had slapped a major pan-Indian star during the shooting of a film.
The unverified report suggested that the alleged incident occurred years ago on a big pan-India project.
Soon after, online speculation spiraled, with some users guessing Prabhas as the actor involved and linking the rumor to their 2022 film Radhe Shyam. This led to sections of Prabhas’ fanbase targeting Pooja Hegde with abusive comments.
However, it has now been confirmed that the report is completely false.
Pooja Hegde has not made any such statements, nor has she given any interview alleging misbehavior by a Telugu top star or claiming that she slapped a co-actor.
The viral post appears to have been created solely to gain attention and boost impressions.
