Gopichand seemed pretty confident about Chanakya, a spy thriller directed by Thiru. The film is bankrolled by Anil Sunkara and gearing up for release on Oct 5.
Gopichand said he liked the script narrated by Thiru as he couldn't guess what's coming next. However, Gopichand suggested a couple of changes and Thiru took around six months time to make the changes.
To avoid over budget, the film's unit had trial shoots in real locations and they were able to finish the product within the set budget.
Gopichand says that he had memorable experience working on Chanakya.
