The two films that are hitting the screens this Sankranthi are Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya which were made with the biggest budgets by Mythri Movie Makers.

It cost more than Rs 100 Cr for Veera Simha Reddy while Waltair Veerayya incurred Rs 140 Cr. Here the difference is only in the remunerations part.

While Balakrishna was given only Rs 15 Cr, Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja collectively took more than Rs 50 Cr.

Then what is the theatre market of these two films?

The entire Andhra region was fixed at Rs 75 Cr for both the films put together by Mythri Movies- Rs 35 Cr for Veera Simha Reddy and Rs 40 Cr for Waltair Veerayya.

Similarly Ceded was closed at Rs 27 Cr - Rs 12.5 For Veera Simha and Rs 14.5 for Veerayya.

Naizam was fixed at Rs 18 Cr for Chiranjeevi's film and Rs 15 Cr for Balakrishna's film. So, it's around Rs 33 Cr.

All the areas were given as NRA (Non Returnable Advance). So the producers get more if there are overflows. In case it doesn't work then the producers have to bear GST expenses to a tune of Rs 30 Cr.

On a whole, Andhra ceded and Naizam made a business of Rs 135 Cr putting Veerayya and Veera Simha together.

To make a breakeven for buyers 10% of costs should be added. To get commissions another 20% has to be added.
