In politics and films, grudges and disagreements are never permanent.
Whether publicly admitted or not, it has been known in industry circles that director Harish Shankar hasn’t been very close to Sithara Entertainments.
In the past, during off-the-record conversations, he reportedly said he would work with Haarika & Hassine Creations, but not with Sithara.
However, in recent months, Harish Shankar has grown quite close to director Trivikram Srinivas.
As a result, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, which had been moving at a snail’s pace, is now back on track and progressing quickly.
Now, sources say Harish Shankar is set to do a film for Sithara Entertainments.
As is well known, Haarika & Hassine Creations only handles Trivikram’s films, so this will be under the Sithara banner. The hero? Vijay Deverakonda.
Currently, Vijay has two commitments - one with Mythri Movie Makers, which is about to start, and another with director Ravikiran Kola.
It remains to be seen whether Harish will wait until Vijay completes these projects or lock another hero for the film.
Reliable sources suggest the Harish Shankar–Vijay Deverakonda–Sithara combo is almost certain, and that after Ustaad Bhagat Singh, Harish’s next project will indeed be with Sithara Entertainments.
