Activists of Veer Shivaji Group on Wednesday staged a protest against 'Pathaan' and its song 'Besharam Rang' in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The activists gathered at a road intersection and set effigies of Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan on fire. They demanded a ban on the film, alleging the Hindu community is offended by the content of the song.

Actor Adivi Sesh reacted after his film 'Major' entered the list of IMDb's Top 10 Indian movies of 2022. "To have a small dream I had and see it turn into such a large reality. It is literally a dream come true," he stated. The film was based on Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was martyred in the 26/11 attacks.
'Drishyam 2' Crosses ₹300 Crore Worldwide
Ajay Devgn-starrer 'Drishyam 2' has become the third-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2022 after crossing ₹300 crore worldwide. According to trade sources, the film is behind Ranbir Kapoor-starrer 'Brahmastra' which earned ₹431 crore worldwide and 'The Kashmir Files' which earned ₹341 crore globally. 'Drishyam 2' earned ₹52 crore overseas. The film also features Shriya Saran and Akshaye Khanna.
Is BRS A 'Plastic Surgery' To TRS?
Accusing Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao of colluding with the Centre, Congress said the "plastic surgery" of renaming his party will not change its DNA. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), last week, was renamed the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). Congress also alleged the BRS government in Telangana was "throttling democracy", after police raided Congress poll strategist Sunil Kanugolu's office.
