Deepika Padukone Loses Two, Gains Three

Deepika Padukone Loses Two, Gains Three

Deepika Padukone has reportedly lost two major pan-Indian Telugu projects due to her demands.

She had insisted on an 8-hour workday, an expanded personal team, and a hefty remuneration. These conditions were considered unreasonable by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and director Nag Ashwin.

As a result, Vanga declined to sign her for “Spirit,” and Nag Ashwin chose to replace her in “Kalki 2898 AD Part 2” with another actress.

Despite losing these big-ticket films, Deepika has not publicly expressed any disappointment. She continues to stand by her professional policy. And that seems to be paying off.

She is already working on two massive projects: a sci-fi entertainer with Allu Arjun, directed by Atlee, and “King” starring Shah Rukh Khan.

Now, she has reportedly secured another pan-Indian mythological drama titled “Mahavatar.” She is set to play Dharani, the wife of Lord Parashuram, portrayed by Vicky Kaushal.
